Richard Bird is the Chief Product Officer for SecZetta and is widely known as "the guy with the bowtie". A multi-time C-level executive in both the corporate and start-up worlds, Richard is internationally recognized for his expert insights, work, and views on cybersecurity, cryptocurrency and blockchain, data privacy, and digital identity. His early career days in technology started just as the consumer internet was developing; first in internet payments and then in telecommunications.

Eventually, Richard's career growth led to several senior executive roles and C-level positions in banking and high-tech device manufacturing. Richard has delivered hundreds of presentations around the world and frequently works with and advises government efforts in the US, EU, and Australia. He is a Senior Fellow with the CyberTheory Zero Trust Institute, a Forbes Tech council member, and has been interviewed frequently by media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Bloomberg, The Financial Times, Business Insider, CNN, NBC Nightly News, and TechRepublic.
