Peter Ressler Speaker Biography
Peter Ressler is an internationally known keynote speaker, business ethics and human capital expert, and 28 year Wall Street search veteran. Peter is the Chief Executive Officer of the premier financial recruiting firm, The Ressler Mitchell Group catering to Wall Street's elite. Peter's legendary reputation as "the best in the business" in financial recruiting combined with international recognition as a leader in values-based and socially responsible business makes him one of the most unique "voices" on Wall Street.
Peter graduated from Cornell University with a business degree and joined EJ Lance Mgt., a Wall Street recruiting firm. He rapidly became the firm's top producer. At age 29, he created the institutional debt and equity capital markets division and served as its managing director for ten years before opening the Ressler Mitchell Group in 1995. RMG has enjoyed phenomenal success since its inception.
The list of exclusive clients reads like a who's who of Wall Street's investment bank and global hedge fund top management. Long term clients include the top management from Goldman Sachs, Fortress Investments, Centerbridge Partners, and Silverpoint Capital. Former clients include Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, and Bear Sterns. Peter is the co-founder of Good Business International (GoodB), a research and information center dedicated to better business for a better world. He pens the Ressler on the Street column and serves as editor for GoodB's Wall Street Walk.
He is a frequent presenter at the United Nations Values & Business working group. Three months after September 11, 2001, Peter volunteered for his local Long Island, New York fire department and was trained by members of the Fire Department of New York's renowned Rescue One and Rescue Four units. The life-changing experience resulted in the award-winning book, Spiritual Capitalism, How 9/11 Gave us Nine Spiritual Lessons of Work & Business. Peter continues to serve as a volunteer firefighter in his rural New Jersey community.
